TSA Chief is Warning Against Boycott of Airport Scans

TSA Article

We have discussed the whole body scan that is being conducted at the airports and how much controversy they have brought along with them. Since there are so many people upset about these body scans, TSA is warning people against attempting to boycott the scans. Wednesday is one of the busiest fly days of the year and if people attempt to boycott the scans, the entire airport could back causing a much greater amount of frustration. It should be interesting to see whether or not people will try to boycott the scans... my prediction? Some people will still try to be an activist and will cause trouble for everyone trying to fly to see their families.

  1. I am flying home next week and I'm seriously concerned with how early I'm going to have to get to the airport in order to get through security and make my flight. I understand why people are getting upset over the new body scan they will have to go through. Most people feel like its too invasive. Boycotting the scans is not the answer to alleviate their frustration. Yes it is an extra step to get through airport security but causing a scene or complaining about something that is mandatory will only further inconvenience you. I would hope that those most upset about the body scans would rather quietly endure the process rather than loudly refuse the process causing distress and delays for everyone behind them in line.
