Does George Bush Think Before He Speaks?

During an interview with Matt Lauer former President of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA George Bush says his lowest moment as president was when Kanye West said he did not care about black people.... what about the war in Iraq and the collapse of the entire economy!!!!??? This article examines this statement from a hip-hop perspective.
Many people were very surprised at the absence of Bush during the mid-term elections. I would've thought he'd be publicly supporting some of the Republican candidates considering many of the races were so close this year. But of course why would he want to stumble over his words or say something outrageous in public right before the debut of his book.

Instead, he decided to wait until after the mid-term elections to say something so unbelievable on an NBC evening telecast with Lauer. I'm curious about the amount of patience Bush's PR team has with him.

  1. I must say that I frankly disgusted by most things that come out of Kanye's mouth, but that is not to say that I'm PRO-Bush by any means. I feel as if everyone is continually hating on Bush and he can't catch a break! I do not agree with many things that happened during his presidency but I think that most presidents are heavily criticized for years after they leave office. At this point in his career, Bush has been keeping himself out of the public eye and recently came out with his book. I started reading it at a bookstore the other day and he made a good point by saying that he believes that it may take a few years before the analyists can truly say what happened during his election. When Bush made the statement that Kanye's comments were the lowest part of his presidency, that is his opinion. Maybe it had a lot more to do with the fact that he had the entire US on his shoulders, the economy was falling apart, and he had a ton of other things going on and then Kanye attacks him on live television. There was most likely a lot more going on than Kanye's comments...
